WorldSings would like to inform you about our new site that is being launched today. It will be a new look for our community that will make the user experience richer for both Artists and Members.
Artists will now be able to upload mp3's along with their competing songs directly to their own players. As we mentioned we will be hosting your competing songs. This allows the fans to discover more of their music and artists will get the necessary feedback for all of their work.
Members will now have their own playlists where they will be able to add all of their favorite competing and mp3 songs on their profile. Everyone can enjoy listening to these songs on the profiles and you can add them to your favorites, easily.
You will notice that everything has changed and that your profile no longer looks like it used to. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause, but there is a reason for this:
In the process of making the user experience better and simpler, we have decided to create standard themes and profiles and to remove all the HTML content inputted by the users. The reason for this is to make what really matters stand out: Your music! Although some of these features will be restored over time, everything will follow a pre-established pattern in order to make the overall look and feel of the website consistent among all sections and to make sure that the content generated by one user does not impact the usability of the website for others.
The general blog will be dedicated to WorldSings, leaving the internal blog areas restricted to the users profile pages.
If at any point, the changes we made impact the way you interact with other members on the website, please don't hesitate to hit us up using the Contact Info link at the bottom of the page. We understand that sometimes the changes may not have the same effects for everybody, but we are committed to do our best to solve any possible issue in a timely fashion, making your experience each and every day, more enjoyable. We are also open to suggestions!
