  • Q: How do I add a music video for the WorldSings Best Song Competition?
    A: In order to add a Competing Song you must log in to your Artist account and then click on Submit Items. After that, click on Upload Video and chose the video that you would like to enter. The following file formats are acceptable on WorldSings: WMV, AVI, MOV, MPG and FLV. The first competing song is free and any additional songs entered in the contest will be $10.
  • Q: How do I add mp3’s to my account?
    A: In order to add mp3’s, you must log in to your Artist account and click on Submit Items. After that, click on Upload mp3’s and chose the songs you would like to upload. You can upload as many mp3’s as you like.
  • Q: I have a song, but do not have a music video. How can I enter the WorldSings Competition?
    A: You can enter the WorldSings Competition by converting your mp3 song to video. On your PC, open Windows Movie Maker, which comes with XP or Vista. Simply import your images and mp3 into movie maker and drag them down into the storyboard/timeline. When you are finished, go to File "Save Movie File" or "Publish". The output from Movie Maker will be a WMV file that you can upload to WorldSings.
  • Q: Once I have uploaded a song for competition can I change it for a different song?
    A: Once you have uploaded a song for competition it cannot be changed unless the video is not working or if you have an updated version of the video.  Please contact the Staff for help.
  • Q: Who can vote for Competing Songs on WorldSings.com?
    A: Both Members and Artists can vote for Competing Songs on WorldSings.com. Each can vote for as many Competing Songs as they want, but may only cast one vote per song.
  • Q: How can I add songs to my playlist?
    A: You can add as many songs to your playlist as you wish. Once you have logged in, click on the icon with the heart next to any song and it will automatically add that song to your playlist.
  • Q:How do I delete my account?
    A: Do you really want to delete your account? Possibly there is something we could help you with? If there is, email us by going to the Contact Us link at the bottom of the page. We will be happy to resolve the problem for you. If you still want to delete your account, you can do that by first logging in and then clicking on Settings. After that, click on Account Settings and in the upper left corner the option Cancel Account is located. Cancelling your account will permanently remove all of your profile information from WorldSings.com.
  • Q: How do I verify my email address?
    A: You can verify your email address by going to your personal email account that you used to create you WorldSings account. Once you log in to your personal email account, you should have a WorlSings.com email verification message in your inbox. Sometimes messages get delivered to Junk/Spam/Bulk folders so if you don’t see the message in your inbox, check there. Once you open the message there will be a link that you need to click on. Once you have clicked on the link it will take you to a WorldSings page where it will ask you to Click Here in order to verify your account. Once you click there, the log in form will be displayed. Log in with your username and password that you created during the sign up process. Once you are logged in your account is verified.
  • Q: What can I do if someone is using my email address?
    A: If someone is using your email address and you are the owner of that email address, you can delete the WorldSings account that is using it. You can delete the account by first going to the WorldSings.com home page. Once you are there, click on Forgot Your Password and enter your email address and the password along with the username will be sent to the email address associated with the account. Remember to check your Junk/Spam/Bulk folders if you do not see the email in your inbox. Once you get the information, log in to the site and click on Settings and then on Account Settings. In the upper left corner there is a Cancel Account link. Once you cancel your account you can create your own account using your email.
  • Q: Why can’t I use the same email account that I have used as an Artist to sign up for a Member account and vice versa?
    A: You can only have one profile per email address. If you want to sign up for another account you need to have a new email address.
  • Q: I am being harassed/threatened on WorldSings. What can I do to stop this?
    A: First of all, it is important to notify the WorldSings.com Staff. You should not respond to any of that person’s comments and/or messages and make sure to save all of the comments and/or messages that the person has sent you. Remove them from your friends list. You can also set your profile to private so that only your friends can view it. See other FAQ on how to make your profile private. If you feel that you are or someone you know is in DANGER you should contact law enforcement immediately.
  • Q: How do I upload pictures?
    A: You can upload pictures by first logging in and clicking on Submit Items. After that, click on Upload Pictures and start adding your photos. When you are done adding your photos, go to the bottom of the page and click on Upload Image.
  • Q: How do I write a blog?
    A: You can write a blog by first logging in and clicking on the Blogs tab. After that, click on Write New Blog. Once you are done writing your blog, go to the bottom of the page and click on Submit Blog. Your submitted blog will be viewable to everyone on WorldSings.com.
  • Q: How do I create a Poll?
    A: You can create a poll by first logging in and clicking on the Polls tab. After that, click on Create New Poll. Once you have created your poll, go to the bottom of the page and click Submit Poll. All of your polls will be displayed on your profile page and on the POLLS main menu.
  • Q: How do I post a bulletin?
    A: You can post a bulletin by first logging in and clicking on Post Bulletins. The Post Bulletin tab is located on your Main page under the Submit Center on the left side of the page. Once you have written your bulletin, go to the bottom of the page and click on Submit Bulletin. Your friends are the only ones who will receive and be able to read your bulletin.
  • Q: How do I create an Event?
    A: Only Artists can create events. You can create an event by first logging in and clicking on EVENTS. After that, click on the ADD NEW EVENT. Once you have created your event go to the bottom of the page and click the Submit tab. If you set your event to public, it will be displayed on your profile page and Events page. If you set your event to Private only friends you invite can see it.
