Biography: The Story behind Lighthouseshadows known as the Sydney band SHADOWPLAY.



SHADOWPLAY consisting of two main songwriters, Ivy and Garry continue in writing and recording material. They are Songwriters, Producers and Performers. Both have a Musician, Acting and T.V. Background.



Music has always been a great love and passion of theirs from an early age. Ivy with vocals, Recorder, some Keyboards and Guitar.

Garry started writing at the age of 14, whilst playing Guitar, Bass, Mandolin and Violin.



Currently they are working on more material and video concepts. From there they look towards implementing more live show concepts and exploring avenues into film based projects.

Shadowplay welcome their new Band Member Rick who is not just a Guitarist, he is talented and a Great Inspiration!


SHADOWPLAY evolved from Lighthouse.

When members of their original band, Lighthouse, after many years of touring, as a 7 piece band, had decided to diversify in varying directions, Garry and Ivy remained as lighthouseshadows and formed SHADOWPLAY.



Their original's performed in Lighthouse still remain strong and with view to re-release them at a later date.



In 1998, SHADOWPLAY ran a campaign to create more awareness of the Homeless. To contribute towards funding for such a needy

cause, they released their CD Titled " Give A Little Bit More "



In 1999, SHADOWPLAY received an award from Sydney's Soundwest 2ccr radio station 90.5 FM for the Best CD Release. They continue

to perform their originals in guests spots as a 2-3 piece.



In 2004, the single One Ring was recorded, as a movie theme in honour of the Lord Of The Rings Movie release.
